My name is Marie Gonzalez. I am a mom of two amazing young girls with a wonderful husband who is helping me achieve my dream of building my very own design business. I started out as a cosmetologist, but as the years went by I started to become more interested in my other passions. I have always been a crafty person and loved making things for my family and friends. That's when it hit me and I decided to focus on turning my passion into a business. I started out with just a Cricut machine and made some simple projects as gifts. Once word got out, the rest was history. I am very thankful for the love and support that has been shown to me.

My Story

I am a full time stay at home mom with a passion for crafting and designing. My goal is to help people capture their dreams and bring joy by receiving a unique custom made item.

Before starting TavelliDesign, I was a licensed hairstylist. I have always loved crafting and creating new things. Being a mom I wanted to be able to work and take care of my children at the same time. I needed to find something I could do from home, but I wanted to do more than just hair. A few years ago I received a Cricut and started making decals for my girls' shirts and cups. Once my family and friends saw what I could do, they started ordering items for themselves. After customizing more cups and shirts for them, I wanted to broaden my wheelhouse in order to attract a broader customer base. That's when my husband offered his car up as a walking billboard for me. He loved taking it to car shows, but always felt it needed something to make it stand out. He loves Batman so I made him some car decals inspired by Batman and he loved them...his car is the Challenger featured in the vinyl decal section by the way. The first time he took his dressed up car to the car show, his friends were amazed by the work and asked him where he got his decals done. He said his wife did them which made them ask if I could make some for their cars. As more of his car club friends kept asking for car decals, I began to think maybe I could start a business designing.

I slowly started growing the business through car shows and custom car vinyls, but thought I could do even more and I was right. I had an old tv tray that needed to be spruced up so I made it into a Hulk for my husband as a surprise gift. He was amazed and loved it. We even made a funny tiktok video about it that went viral. When my sister saw this while visiting one day, she told me I should post it on my social media since it was unique and functional. Before we knew it, people not only loved it, they wanted to order their own custom tray. From there my business has just been growing which is why we keep adding new custom items.

My dream is to help you create something unique and functional for yourself or the people you care about. After all I think life is all about reaching and helping people and I like to think I can help with that.
